Seriously, so incredibly blessed with the most fun sessions and the best clients lately! I’m so grateful for each and every family that I get the pleasure of working with and am also so humbled that these families trust me to document these precious moments in their lives.
While I write this post, I’m sitting at Starbucks, admiring this sunflower session at Lickinghole Brewery with the most amazing family and reminiscing our super fun evening at Lickinghole Creek Brewery a few weekends ago. I’m also sitting here wondering where in the world time goes, because I feel like it was just yesterday that Ben and I met 5 day old little A. And now he’s O N E. How? Just, how?
Awhile back I had read that Lickinghole Creek Brewery has a to-die-for sunflower field around this time of year and I had mentioned to Shannon how much fun it would be to take some photos there. And then, I waited and waited, ever so patiently, for Lickinghole Creek to post on their Facebook page that the sunflowers had bloomed. And finally they did.
And so the planning began. Shannon and I had been planning some one year photos for Abe so this fit in perfectly. We decided to grab a few cake smash shots in the morning (blog post coming soon) and then meet back up at Lickinghole Creek for some dinner, beer, and some sunset photos in the field (don’t worry, photos and picking is encouraged)! And for real… the sunset that night was uh-mazing! And while the sunflowers weren’t quite in FULL bloom, there were just enough to add some fun pops of color and an incredibly beautiful setting. Enjoy, my friends!
Also, before you go!!! It’s not too late to take advantage of my summer evening special for sessions JUST like this one! I would so LOVE working with you to document life. Please drop me a note and let’s start planning!
